Wale Island (52˚50'00" 129˚01'00" Head of Racey Inlet, W side of Princess Royal I). William John Wale (1842–1930), from London, England, immigrated to Victoria in 1853 in the HBC supply ship Norman Morison with his mother and stepfather, Amelia Rebecca and Edmund Williams.
