Watts Point


Watts Point (49˚39'00" 123˚13'00" E side of Howe Sd, NW of Britannia Beach, NW of Vancouver). This feature, which first appears on Admiralty charts in 1863, is possibly named after Isaac Watts (1797–1876), who was the RN’s chief ship designer for many years (he had thetitles assistant surveyor, 1848–59, and chief constructor, 1859–63).
