Wearing Point (52˚18'00" 127˚45'00" W side of Cousins Inlet, Dean Channel, SW of Ocean Falls). According to a note at BC’s Geographical Names Office, this feature was named after the engineer who built the dam across the outlet to Link Lk in 1910–11, thus providing the pulp and paper town of Ocean Falls with its essential source of hydroelectric power.
