Wedgborough Point

Wedgborough Point (51˚39'00" 127˚57'00" NE side of Calvert I, W side of Fitz Hugh Sd, S of Bella Bella). Samuel Wedgborough accompanied the fur-trading expedition to the PNW led by James Strange in 1786. His exact role is uncertain, though he was obviously an influential figure on board the Experiment, under Capt John Guise, the smaller of Strange’s two vessels.
