Weinberg Inlet

Weinberg Inlet (53˚08'00" 129˚32'00" NW side of Campania I, NE end of Estevan Sd, S of Pitt I). Jack Leonard Weinberg (d 1990) was 1st officer of the W coast survey vessel William J Stewart in the early 1940s. He was a native of Finland and initially earned his living as a fisherman, later becoming a ship’s officer and eventually qualifying as a BC coast pilot.
