West Bay

West Bay (48˚26'00" 123˚24'00" Victoria Hbr, N of Work Point, SE end of Vancouver I). Named by Capt Henry Kellett of HMS Herald, who surveyed the S coast of Vancouver I in 1846–47, and marked on Joseph Pemberton’s 1855 map of SE Vancouver I.
