Whaler Bay


Whaler Bay (48˚53'00" 123˚20'00" SE side of Galiano I, Gulf Is). Cdr John Parry of the RN survey ship Egeria applied this local name in 1903 when he was re-surveying Active Pass. Small whaling vessels supposedly used the western end of the bay for anchorage.
