Whirlwind Bay

Whirlwind Bay (51˚52'00" 127˚52'00" Namu Hbr, E side of Fitz Hugh Sd, SE of Bella Bella). Named for the violent gusts that blow down off the mountains in this vicinity. According to Sailing Directions, “during autumn and winter months, anchorage ... is not recommended.”
