Williams Island (49˚38'00" 124˚03'00" Pender Hbr, SE side of Malaspina Str, NW of Vancouver). The source of this name is uncertain but may refer to a midshipman named Williams who served on the Pacific Station aboard HMS Tribune about 1860.
