Wya Point

Wya Point (48˚58'00" 125˚37'00" SE end of Florencia Bay, W of Barkley Sd, W side of Vancouver I). Named after Wya or Wayi, a nearby Ucluelet First Nation reserve. The word can be translated from the Nuu-chah-nulth language as “safe place.”
