Yates Shoal

Yates Shoal (52˚51'00" 129˚33'00" W of Rennison I, entrance to Caamaño Sd, Hecate Str). James Stuart Yates (1857–1950) was born at Victoria, a son of HBC pioneer James Yates (see Yates Point), but was raised and educated at Edinburgh, where he studied law.
