Yorke Island


Yorke Island (50˚27'00" 125˚59'00" At the junction of Johnstone Str and Sunderland Channel, NW of Campbell R). Capt George Richards named this island in association with nearby Hardwicke I in 1862, after the family name of the British earls of Hardwicke. Mt Yorke on Hardwicke I was named at the same time.
