Allen, Bruce Norman

ALLEN, Bruce Norman, talent manager (b 19 May 1945, Vancouver). After studying economics at UBC for 3 years he dropped out to manage his first band, Crosstown Bus. He joined forces with Sam FELDMAN, a doorman at a local club, and together they built a prosperous booking agency. In 1972 Allen met Randy Bachman and became manager of the guitarist's new band, BACHMAN-TURNER OVERDRIVE. By 1974 BTO was topping the charts in N America and the UK, and Allen relinquished the booking agency to Feldman...
