Anarchist Mountain


ANARCHIST MOUNTAIN (el 1,233 m), on Hwy 3 east of OSOYOOS, is named for Richard Sidley, an Irish pioneer, whose radical political views cost him the job as local postmaster. He took up ranching (see CATTLE INDUSTRY) on the summit.
