ANMORE, village, pop 2,356 (2021), is a suburban community on the north side of BURRARD INLET, on the eastern outskirts of VANCOUVER adjacent to PORT MOODY. Incorporated in 1987, it expanded in 1997 to include the popular recreational area surrounding BUNTZEN LK. The village hall is the original homestead of the legendary newspaperwoman "Ma" MURRAY and her husband George.
