BC FOREST PRODUCTS LTD (BCFP) was established in 1946 by the Toronto industrialist E.P. Taylor with the purchase and amalgamation of several established coastal lumber companies. During its first 7 years of operation the company was managed and its lumber sold by the H.R. MacMILLAN Export Co. At the same time, the company acquired more timber and consolidated its holdings.
