BLIND CHANNEL is a harbour village in the jumble of islands on the Mid-Coast between VANCOUVER ISLAND and the mainland. It is situated on W THURLOW ISLAND overlooking Mayne Passage between W and E Thurlow Islands near the south end of JOHNSTONE STRAIT. It was a thriving community through the 1920s, with SALMON CANNING and SAWMILLING operations.
