CADBORO was the first sailing vessel brought to the coast by the HBC to conduct trading and supply voyages under the command of Lt Aemilius SIMPSON. It arrived at Fort Vancouver on the COLUMBIA R in 1827, just in time to transport a party to establish FORT LANGLEY on the FRASER R. It also assisted at the founding of Fort Nass in 1831.
