Canyon City

CANYON CITY, or Giteinksihlkw as it is known to its NISGA'A residents, pop 212, is the smallest of the 4 Nisga'a villages on the NASS R in northeastern BC. It has been linked by road to the outside world only since 1995. Commercial FISHING and LOGGING are the main employers.
