Carp Lake Provincial Park


CARP LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK (193.4 sq km) lies in boreal forest on the Nechako Plateau 150 km north of PRINCE GEORGE, just west of McLEOD LAKE. The park was established in 1973 and is popular for camping and FISHING. Fur traders, including Simon FRASER, used the lake as an important source of food fish in the early 1800s.
