Carpenter Lake


CARPENTER LAKE, 46 sq km, is a reservoir created between 1955 and 1960 by the construction of the Terzhagi Dam on the BRIDGE R, west of LILLOOET. The narrow lake, rimmed by mountains, stretches 64 km behind the dam west to GOLD BRIDGE. It was created to regulate the flow in the river to the HYDROELECTRIC development at SHALALTH on SETON LK.
