CASCADE is a border crossing south of CHRISTINA LK on the KETTLE R, 20 km east of GRAND FORKS. From 1895 it was a key stopping place on the wagon road linking Marcus, WA, and the Spokane Falls & Northern Railroad with settlements on the Canadian side of the border.
