Chinook Cove


CHINOOK COVE  () , a CANADIAN NORTHERN RWY station originally named Genier on the N THOMPSON R 64 km north of KAMLOOPS, sounds as if it should be located on the ocean. Its name is a reminder that chinook SALMON travel great distances from the sea in order to reproduce before they die.
