Chu Chua

CHU CHUA, pop 231, is a small SECWEPEMC (Shuswap) settlement and former CANADIAN NORTHERN RWY station on the east side of the N THOMPSON R, 75 km north of KAMLOOPS. There is a SAWMILL here. The name is the plural form of a Secwepemc word for "creek."
