Courtnall, Geoff and Russ

COURTNALL, Geoff (b 18 Aug 1962, Duncan) and Russ (b 2 June 1965, Duncan), hockey players. Raised in VICTORIA, Russ played his high school HOCKEY at Notre Dame College in Saskatchewan before joining his older brother in the lineup of the hometown VICTORIA COUGARS. Both forwards scored well at the WHL level but only Russ was drafted, seventh overall in 1983 by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the NHL entry draft.
