East Pine

EAST PINE, is a small ranching (see CATTLE INDUSTRY) settlement 63 km west of DAWSON CREEK, in the foothills of the ROCKY MTS in the PEACE R district. It is situated in a terraced valley near the confluence of the Murray and Pine rivers and is on the HART HWY and the BC RAIL line. East Pine Provincial PARK is located here. The Pine R is a tributary of the Peace.
