EN'OWKIN CENTRE is a unique FIRST NATIONS training centre and gathering place at PENTICTON, established in 1981 by several nations of the OKANAGAN people. The centre, which includes a resource library focussing on Okanagan culture, carries out a variety of programs including a school of writing, language-teacher training, adult education and COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT initiatives.
