Farris, Evlyn Fenwick (Kierstead)

FARRIS, Evlyn Fenwick (Kierstead), education activist (b 21 Aug 1878, Windsor, NS; d 5 Nov 1971, Vancouver). She graduated with an MA from Acadia Univ in 1899 and taught school in Connecticut until 1905, when she married John Wallace deBeque FARRIS, a VANCOUVER lawyer, and moved to BC.
