Finlay River

FINLAY RIVER, 400 km, is an important tributary of the PEACE R in northeast BC, flowing east and south from Thutade Lk near TATLATUI PROVINCIAL PARK in the Skeena Mts, through a 19,040 sq km drainage area. Much of its southern valley was flooded by the WILLISTON RESERVOIR, created in 1968 after the building of the BENNETT DAM at HUDSON'S HOPE.
