FREDRICKSON, Frank, hockey player (b 11 June 1895, Winnipeg; d 28 Apr 1979). A prolific scorer, he was captain of the Winnipeg Falcons when they won the 1920 Allan Cup for Canadian amateur HOCKEY supremacy and the Olympic gold medal in Antwerp. He came to BC in 1921 to play for Lester PATRICK's VICTORIA Aristocrats (later VICTORIA COUGARS) and led the PACIFIC COAST HOCKEY ASSOCIATION in scoring in 1921 and 1923.
