FRIPP, Thomas William, artist (b 23 Mar 1864, London, England; d 30 May 1931, Vancouver). Following in the footsteps of his father, a watercolourist of the Victorian era, Fripp studied to become a painter. In 1893 he immigrated to BC and settled on a homestead at HATZIC, but farming proved to be too strenuous for him.
