Germansen Landing

GERMANSEN LANDING  () , pop 44, is a community on the Omineca R, 207 km north of FORT ST JAMES by unpaved road. It is named for James Germansen, an American prospector whose gold discovery here in 1870 helped sustain the Omineca GOLD RUSH.
