GINTER, Benjamin George, contractor, brewer (b 10 Feb 1923, Wolyn, Poland; d 17 July 1982, Richmond). Raised on a farm near Swan River, MB, he left home at age 14 to make his way as an itinerant labourer. Following WWII he began a construction company, working for contractors in western Canada.
