GLEN VALLEY, 32 km east of NEW WESTMINSTER in LANGLEY municipality, is a former steamship landing on the south shore of the FRASER R and the CNR. This prosperous DAIRY FARMING district, located in a rich pocket of alluvial soil left by an age-old turn of the river, was first settled (and named) by Gilbert McKay in 1877. A regional park is located nearby.
