LANGLEY is located on the TRANS-CANADA HWY about 40 km east of VANCOUVER. The district municipality stretches from the FRASER R on the north to the US border and is bounded by MATSQUI on the east and SURREY on the west. It has always been an AGRICULTURAL area and 75% of the land remained rural by 1999.
