GUNTERMAN, Ida "Mattie" (Warner), camp cook, photographer (b 1872, La Crosse, WI; d 18 June 1945, Beaton). As a youngster she learned PHOTOGRAPHY from an uncle before moving to Seattle in 1889. She married William Gunterman and in 1898 the couple moved north to the LARDEAU valley, east of Upper ARROW LK in the W KOOTENAY.
