Hatley Park


HATLEY PARK is a large medieval castle built by James DUNSMUIR, one-time PREMIER (1900–02) and LT GOV (1906–09), where he and his family emulated the life of the English landed gentry. Construction of the palatial home was completed in 1908 on 2.4 sq km of land overlooking Esquimalt Lagoon outside VICTORIA.
