JEROME, Harry Winston, sprinter (b 30 Sept 1940, Prince Albert, SK; d 7 Dec 1982, Vancouver). He moved to BC with his family when he was 12 and began running at N VANCOUVER High School. After equalling the world 100-m record (10 secs) he went to the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960 but had to pull up in a qualifying heat with a pulled muscle.
