Jeune Landing

JEUNE LANDING  () , 33 km south of PORT HARDY on Neroutsos Inlet, is just north of PORT ALICE on VANCOUVER ISLAND. Western Forest Products Ltd maintains an office here and a dryland timber sort nearby. This former LOGGING settlement was named after the Jeune brothers, pioneer VICTORIA sailmakers who also produced canvas tents and tarpaulins for BC's resource industries, and later for the recreation market.
