KELLY, Peter Reginald, Methodist (later United Church) minister, Haida leader (b 21 Apr 1885, Skidegate; d 2 Mar 1966, Nanaimo). After studying at the COQUALEETZA Institute, a Methodist-run school at SARDIS, he returned to SKIDEGATE in the QUEEN CHARLOTTE ISLANDS and taught school for 5 years.
