LANDAUER, Otto, commercial photographer (b 3 Oct 1903, Munich, Germany; d 19 Sept 1980, Vancouver). The son of a Munich carpet merchant, he went to work in his father's store at age 16 and took over the business in 1928. He was an avid mountaineer who took up PHOTOGRAPHY as a hobby on his mountain excursions.
