LIGNUM LTD is an independent SAWMILL company in the BC Interior. It was started in 1946 by Leslie Kerr, the founding president of the Cariboo Lumber Manufacturers' Assoc. After operating several small mills in the CARIBOO and Shuswap areas, the company concentrated its operations in WILLIAMS LAKE, where its mill was a pioneer in the use of modern computerized equipment.
