Lindell Beach

LINDELL BEACH, pop 135, a recreational community 20 km east of ABBOTSFORD at the south end of CULTUS LK, was named for Andrew F. Lindell, a Swedish settler who had a farm here in the 19th century (see SWEDES). The agricultural district south of the beach to the US border was served by a post office called Lindell but is better known as the Columbia Valley.
