Mahood Falls

MAHOOD FALLS is a resort community 90 km southeast of WILLIAMS LAKE, near the east end of CANIM LK in the CARIBOO. The spectacular 23-m falls are on the Canin R between Canim and Mahood Lks; Mahood Lk forms part of the southern boundary of WELLS GRAY PROVINCIAL PARK and is named after James A. Mahood, who led a CPR survey party in the area in 1872. See also WATERFALLS.
