MARITIME MUSEUM OF BC was established as a naval museum on Signal Hill in ESQUIMALT in 1954. It moved to its present site in the former VICTORIA Law Courts Building on Bastion Square in downtown Victoria in 1965. There is a legend that the court building—designed by H.O.
