McGeer, Patrick and Edith (Graef)

McGEER, Patrick, medical scientist, politician (b 29 June 1927, Vancouver; d there 29 Aug 2022), and Edith (Graef) (b 18 Nov 1923, New York City). Educated at UBC and Princeton Univ, he joined the faculty of medicine at UBC in 1959 and established a reputation as a leading researcher in the area of neurobiology.
