MINK (Mustela vison) is a small semi-aquatic member of the WEASEL family (Mustelids) inhabiting Interior WETLANDS, the banks of RIVERS, LAKES and streams, and the seashore. Adult mink grow to about 60 cm in length and weigh up to 2 kg. Excellent swimmers with partially webbed hind feet, mink feed on FISH, invertebrates, reptiles, amphibians, birds, muskrats and young BEAVERS.
