MOBERLY, Walter, engineer (b 15 Aug 1832, Steeple Aston, England; d 14 May 1915, Vancouver). He arrived in BC a trained civil engineer in 1858 and helped to lay out NEW WESTMINSTER the next year. He was involved in the construction of the DEWDNEY TRAIL from 1859 to 1865.
