MOUNT REVELSTOKE NATIONAL PARK  () , adjacent to the city of REVELSTOKE, was established in 1914 at the insistence of the city's residents, who wanted a dominion park to protect the natural beauty of Mt Revelstoke's (el 1,830 m) rolling meadows of WILDFLOWERS and surrounding snow-capped peaks.
