NARAMATA  () , pop 1,791, occupies benchland overlooking the east shore of OKANAGAN LK 16 km north of PENTICTON. It was founded in 1907, the third of 3 townsites developed by John Moore ROBINSON, the other 2 being PEACHLAND and SUMMERLAND.
